It was a dream come true to have this Mothers Day 2011 finally arrive !
I thought I might be stronger this time to not cry....but the moment I heard his voice... It flooded me with just how much I miss my Son ! I truly would go through every moment again, just because he is so happy and has loved his mission ! It has been such a great experience for Cory and for our family and we have been so blessed by his sacrifice !
But, I am a Mom, and I can't lie, I am SOOO happy that he will soon be home ! It feels like a dream to imagine to hold him and to talk to him as long as I feel ! ha ha He might not be looking too forward to that part .
I KNOW my Savior lives ! He has helped sustain not only our missionary, but our whole family as we have gone through these past two years! I am so thankful for all the many blessings ! Two years ago on May 20th it was one of the hardest day of my life to watch my son turn and walk away, Now... May 24 at 12:56 p.m. will be a day of great Joy in my life as I get to see my Son, now a man with a burning testimony of our Savior, walking toward me and getting to feel him in my arms once again !!!
I imagine in my mind that this is a glimpse of what it will feel like, when we get to be reunited for Time and All Eternity with Loved Ones that we have had to Say Good Bye to BUT only for a short time !
FAMILIES TRULY ARE FOREVER !
